What A Blast!
Farlo, the curious little stuffed elephant, loved to follow his family everywhere. He would stand in the hallway, just outside the children’s rooms, waiting to see where they would go next. And this time, the family had just come back from an exciting trip!
They had been to Las Vegas, where they saw bright lights, dazzling shows, and even visited the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and the Valley of Fire. Farlo listened closely as the kids excitedly shared their stories, and his imagination started to whirl.
That night, as the house grew quiet, Farlo closed his button eyes and imagined himself on the same adventure...
Farlo Hits the Jackpot!
Farlo found himself in Las Vegas, standing in front of the biggest, brightest buildings he had ever seen! The lights twinkled like stars, and music played from everywhere.
He waddled into a grand hotel and found a row of big machines with buttons and levers. Curious as always, he pulled a lever... JACKPOT! Coins spilled out everywhere!
A Canyon-Sized Surprise
With a blink, Farlo suddenly found himself standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. The canyon stretched farther than his tiny stuffed elephant eyes could see.
A wise old tortoise wearing a ranger hat said, “Be careful, young traveler. This canyon has been here for millions of years.”
Farlo peeked over the edge. “It’s so deep! Maybe I should have packed my parachute.”
Hoover Dam Rescue
Farlo’s adventure wasn’t over yet! He suddenly landed on top of Hoover Dam. Water rushed below him, and a big fish popped up.
“Help!” the fish said. “My hat blew away!”
Farlo, being a helpful elephant, saw the hat floating toward the dam’s edge. He reached out with his tiny trunk, stretched as far as he could... and plop! He grabbed it just in time!
Valley of Fire and the Dancing Rocks
Magic and the Missing Elephant
Next, Farlo found himself on a stage in Las Vegas, with a magician in a shiny cape.
“For my next trick,” the magician announced, “I will make this elephant disappear!”
Before Farlo could say, “Wait, what?”—POOF! He vanished!
Luckily, he knew just what to do. He wiggled his trunk, twitched his ears, and... POP! He appeared back on stage!
The crowd cheered! “That elephant is amazing!”
Showtime on the Strip
Farlo found himself backstage at three incredible Las Vegas shows. The first was a dazzling variety show filled with comedy, juggling, and even a talking parrot that told jokes! Farlo giggled as a clown tumbled across the stage, and he clapped his tiny stuffed paws when the dancers twirled in shimmering costumes.
Then, he was whisked into a world of breathtaking acrobatics, where performers soared high above the stage, twisting and flipping through the air like birds in flight. Farlo held his breath as a performer balanced on one hand atop a towering stack of chairs!
The final show took him under the sea, where performers in colorful costumes swam through the air like fish, twisting and turning through hoops of light. Water cascaded onto the stage, and giant puppets of sea creatures danced around him.
“I love show business!” Farlo cheered.
Back to Reality
The next morning, Farlo was back in his spot in the hallway, standing in front of the kids’ rooms.
Madeline picked him up and hugged him. “Did you miss our trip, Farlo?” she asked.
Farlo, of course, didn’t answer. But if he could, he’d say...
“Oh, I went on the trip too! And what an adventure it was!”
The End.
